Our company focuses on a variety topics in the field of electromobility and was founded in 2014 as a spin-off of the chair for “Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components” (PEM) at the RWTH Aachen University by Prof.

We have established offices across Europe and North America in four locations and two joint ventures with more than 70 employees globally.

As a consulting, training and engineering service provider, we accompany our clients from the first concept through series production.

By providing a pragmatic and holistic approach, PEM Motion excels in the development and deployment of smart technologies.

Our activities range from product development, process design, and industrialization of electromobility components such as battery cells and electric motors to projects developing infrastructure, market analysis, and ecosystem management.

Over many years, we have built a wide network of innovation partners centered around our university partners in Aachen, Sacramento, Monterrey and Windsor.

This network allows us to easily pull in highly skilled technical experts from a variety of fields and subject areas to solve any problem for our clients.

Our ties to the universities allow PEM Motion to support projects that require both theoretical and practical knowledge of cutting-edge technologies.
