Job Description
ABAP IS-U Developer designing SAPUI5 and Fiori applications for Qualysoft’s international IT consulting clients. Integrating SAP systems through OData services, CI/CD, and modern JavaScript.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solution designs aligned with customer development and architecture standards
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications for Meter2Cash business processes
- Integrate SAP backend systems using OData services and standardized interfaces
- Develop frontend components, user interfaces, and application logic using JavaScript ES6+ and SAPUI5
- Support OData service technical design and collaborate with backend developers on data modelling and service provisioning
- Analyze existing applications and perform bug fixing, performance optimization, and technical improvements
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development guidelines and quality standards
- Support implementation and optimization of CI/CD processes for automated application deployment
- Work with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and development teams on requirements, prioritization, and implementation
- Document developments and technical concepts and ensure proper handover of deliverables to the customer
Requirements:
- Experience with SAPUI5 / SAP Fiori development
- Understanding of SAP architecture and data modelling
- Experience with OData services and interface development
- Experience with Git and version control
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, e.g. GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Experience with technical solution design and architecture concepts
- Basic knowledge of ABAP and CDS Views
- Experience with web application performance optimization
- Experience with code reviews and software quality practices
- Data handling and data modelling knowledge
- System integration and interface development experience
- Release Management
- Testing experience
- Configuration Management
- Security knowledge
- Experience working with production environments
- English language
- Python development and automation experience – nice to have
- Knowledge of SAP BTP – nice to have
