Job Description
Academic content developer creating fintech engineering curriculum for Jala University. Designing modules, labs, reference implementations, evaluation harnesses, and instructor guides.
Responsibilities:
- Design module content for the Fintech Engineering Specialization at Jala University
- Create labs
- Develop a reference implementation
- Build an evaluation harness
- Prepare an instructor guide
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in FinTech / lending / payments
- Mandatory: experience shipping credit products at a LatAm digital lender (e.g., ADDI, Stori, Aflore, Finkargo, Creditas, or similar)
- Experience with loan origination, including amortization schedules (Price / SAC), interest accrual, and automated credit decisioning
- Experience with credit bureau integrations (e.g., Serasa, Boa Vista, Buró de Crédito, Datacrédito, TransUnion)
- Experience with collections state machines and portfolio monitoring
- Knowledge of funding structures (FIDC or equivalent)
- Knowledge of LatAm consumer credit regulation
- Reproducibility discipline: pinned dependencies, containers, seeded runs, and documented parameters
- Public writing samples demonstrating technical explanation to publication standard
- Ability to write clear, production-quality code examples in Go and TypeScript / Node.js
- Professional written English
