Job Description
Account Director driving complex sales, strategic accounts and revenue growth for TransUnion’s payments, cards and e-commerce markets. Leading negotiations and executive client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver an annual revenue target across the Payments, Cards and E-commerce markets
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic, high-profile accounts and prospects with significant revenue and diverse, complex requirements
- Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity identification and proposal development through negotiation, contracting and long-term client commitment
- Develop professional materials and executive-level presentations for client engagements and sales pitches
- Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders
- Coordinate internal resources to maximise commercial opportunities
- Develop detailed knowledge of assigned accounts, including financial performance, business needs, relevant markets and applicable TransUnion products and services
- Build and maintain an external network covering clients, competitors, industry developments and emerging market opportunities
- Identify opportunities for new products and solutions
- Develop supporting business cases and champion opportunities through the product-development process
- Negotiate and manage contracting activities between TransUnion and client organisations
- Operate effectively within a regulated environment
- Report to the Chief Revenue Officer, UK
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in a client-facing strategic sales role
- Experience selling complex, high-value solutions through a full-cycle sales environment
- Expert knowledge of the complete sales process, including account planning, opportunity development, negotiation, contracting and revenue delivery
- Proven experience managing strategic or large, complex accounts
- Experience developing relationships with senior client and internal stakeholders
- Ability to create and deliver persuasive executive-level presentations and commercial proposals
- Understanding of responsibilities and controls associated with working in a regulated environment
- Strong commercial and account-management capability, including revenue planning, sales-pipeline management and opportunity development
- Advanced negotiation and contracting skills for complex, long-cycle commercial agreements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Occasional travel required
- Previous knowledge of, or experience working within, the Payments, Cards or E-commerce markets is preferred
- Strong market-awareness and professional networking capabilities

- Ability to take ownership, address challenges and deliver sustainable commercial growth
