Job Description

Account Director leading Artemis’s CBP Trusted Traveler marketing account. Directing integrated media, creative, communications, and project teams to increase program enrollment and awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and account lead for CBP’s Trusted Traveler Program Marketing Support Services contract
  • Direct and manage account performance and client relationships
  • Lead strategic planning/media, digital/social media, creative, copywriting, and project coordination teams
  • Oversee development and refinement of the Strategic Communications Plan
  • Direct execution of the Comprehensive Media Buy Plan, including creative concepts, ad placement schedules, sentiment analysis, audience reach, cost analysis, and KPI/marketing analytics reporting
  • Guide production of collateral marketing materials, advertisements, informational materials, creative designs, signage, videos, and social media content
  • Coordinate staffing, logistics, and support for approximately four domestic and international tradeshows and conferences annually
  • Oversee preparation and submission of After-Campaign Reports, Conference Reports, and other client deliverables
  • Manage the integrated Project Schedule and Monthly Progress and Cost Status Reports
  • Facilitate the contract kickoff meeting and ongoing client communications, documenting meeting minutes, action items, and decisions
  • Support CBP responses to Senior CBP management, Congress, the White House, DHS, and other agencies or organizations
  • Ensure compliance with contract data rights, confidentiality, and professional conduct standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of account management experience in an advertising or marketing agency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Proven track record managing major client accounts and leading cross-functional teams in support of federal government clients
  • Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to marketing trends and technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government
  • Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability/public trust clearance
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and time management skills
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and work well with others
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, and solutions logically, both written and orally
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to receive client feedback and implement changes quickly and effectively
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues
