Job Description

Remote Account Manager managing school and academy trust relationships for ParentPay Group’s EdTech products. Driving renewals, upsells, customer satisfaction, and commercial growth across Northern England.

Responsibilities:

  • Own primary commercial relationships for an assigned group of Schools and Multi-Academy Trusts
  • Drive commercial extension, retention, growth, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Territory Partnership Manager and In-life management support teams to maximize customer value from products and services
  • Proactively engage customers to understand and influence strategy and build demand for ParentPay Group and partner products and services
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations to stakeholders up to C-Suite
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly status and results presentations to internal and external teams
  • Plan sales achievement within the assigned customer segment and monitor/report performance against commercial goals
  • Manage approximately 1000 academy/LA schools and develop relationships across customer organizations
  • Drive customer retention, contract renewals, upsells, and satisfaction
  • Plan territories and activities
  • Collaborate with support, Marketing, Helpdesk, Product Development, Finance, and cross-functional teams
  • Analyze customer success/failure root causes and drive product or process enhancements
  • Manage sales campaigns using technical tools and quantitative data
  • Prepare campaign insights reporting, analysis, and research
  • Maintain a revenue opportunity pipeline and forecast sales conversion
  • Manage CRM activity, billing/invoicing queries, workflows, customer service, operational excellence, and strategic insight

Requirements:

  • Experience in Commercial Account Management/Business Development with EdTech experience being an advantage
  • Experience in selling and territory management
  • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of a business
  • Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations
  • A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables
  • Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
  • Clear understanding of effective sales methodologies with a demonstrable ability to plan, articulate and execute sales engagements through all phases
  • Project and program management awareness; knowledge of key concepts including phases, plans, deliverables, scope and tasks
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligations
  • Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo – always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned customer base
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge and experience with contracts and contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated
  • Based in or near Yorkshire/the North East of England
