Job Description
Account Manager driving educational product sales and customer growth for Realityworks. Managing the full sales cycle across a multi-state territory with up to 35% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, relationship development, proposal generation, closing, and post-sale follow-up
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurately forecast territory performance
- Develop long-term customer relationships by understanding needs and recommending appropriate solutions
- Convert leads into long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and consistent follow-up
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person visits
- Respond to inquiries about product features, pricing, purchasing options, and technical support
- Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity, and customer interaction records in the CRM system
- Maintain post-sale engagement to support customer satisfaction and retention
- Participate in sales meetings, product training, and professional development activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer outcomes
- Travel within the assigned territory to meet customers and attend industry events, conferences, and tradeshows
Requirements:
- 5+ years of successful field sales experience managing a defined territory
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships and generate new business opportunities
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong account management, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills
- Ability to manage a geographic territory and travel regularly to customer sites
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
