Job Description
Adjunct faculty teaching Grand Canyon University’s online Financial Planning Capstone. Guiding students through financial analysis, ethics, client communication, and plan development.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
- Support the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
- Teach Financial Planning Capstone, synthesizing financial planning concepts through case studies
- Guide students in applying financial analysis techniques, client communication, professional standards, ethics, and financial plan implementation and evaluation
Requirements:
- Minimum: Master’s in Financial Planning, Financial Services, Finance, or related field, and CFP(R) certification
- Preferred: PhD Financial Planning and CFP(R) certification
- Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
- Attach any applicable licenses/certifications
