Job Description
Agency Sales Development Representative driving new agency acquisition and revenue growth. Focused on engaging and converting independent insurance agencies for First Connect Insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-velocity pipeline of outbound leads with a strong focus on daily activity and consistent follow-up
- Execute high-volume outreach across phone, email, and other channels to engage and qualify prospects
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date CRM records including notes, tasks, and next steps
- Proactively source and pursue new agency opportunities
- Own the full sales cycle from first touch to close and activation
- Confidently overcome objections and navigate buying concerns
- Consistently meet and exceed activity, conversion, and revenue targets
- Identify prospect pain points and position First Connect’s value propositions as the solution
- Lead discovery, demo, and closing conversations tailored to each agency’s needs
- Execute an effective and repeatable sales process to convert leads into activated FC Agencies with short sales cycles
- Follow defined sales processes while also contributing to continuous improvement
- Maintain strong calendar management, follow-up discipline, and internal communication
- Deliver on commitments to prospects and customers with a high standard of reliability and professionalism
- Analyze what’s working and what’s not in your pipeline, messaging, and approach — and adjust tactics accordingly
- Share insights and feedback to improve messaging, positioning, and conversion rates
- Remain flexible and proactive as priorities and strategies evolve
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management (preferably in insurance, SaaS, fintech, or a related field)
- Comfort working in a high-volume, high-activity sales environment
- Strong consultative selling and closing skills
- High level of self-motivation, accountability, and ownership
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with CRM systems and sales tools
- A growth mindset and desire to continuously improve
