Job Description
AI Engineer developing and maintaining systems for Voice AI and Text AI agents. Collaborating with product and design teams and mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and own the systems that power Voice AI and Text AI agents
- Craft system-level prompts that shape agent behavior and outcomes
- Develop tool-calling integrations for reliable real-world actions
- Build LLM-as-a-judge evaluations and AI observability
- Partner closely with product and design teams
- Apply industry-standard engineering practices
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production
- Solid backend experience in one or more of Elixir, Go, Python, or comparable server-side language
- Comfort working across the stack (data model, LLM/agent logic to APIs)
- A track record of leading projects from spec to launch alongside multiple contributors
- Deep sense of ownership and bias for action
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Eager to keep up with AI capabilities
