Job Description
AI Engineer building a serverless AWS model-integration layer for Cloudary’s multi-cloud AI filmmaking platform. Connecting Bedrock, ModelArk, video, and image providers without disrupting the existing Firebase/GCP frontend.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and deploy a serverless AWS Lambda proxy layer fronted by API Gateway
- Provision infrastructure using AWS CDK or CloudFormation
- Extend six video and image model integrations to support 9:16 vertical aspect ratio parameters
- Build a direct ByteDance ModelArk REST API integration with bearer-token authentication
- Wrap the ModelArk integration in a dedicated Lambda function and surface it in the client UI using the existing dropdown pattern
- Add an Amazon Bedrock-based content moderation pre-check before FLUX and SeedDance calls
- Validate the end-to-end flow from story ideation through storyboard image generation, 9:16 SeedDance video generation, and MP4 export in a Beta environment
- Confirm and document technical assumptions, including no-train/no-retain flag verification for the ModelArk API
- Work alongside the client's existing Firebase/GCP frontend without migrating its backend or disrupting its release process
Requirements:
- Hands-on production experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, and IAM/networking
- Comfortable provisioning environments with AWS CDK or CloudFormation
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock Guardrails or LLM-based classification for content moderation, or ability to ramp quickly
- Proven ability to integrate third-party/vendor REST APIs using bearer-token authentication
- Comfortable working alongside an existing React/Firebase frontend without owning frontend design or development
- Able to work independently within a short, fixed-scope engagement of 15–20 business days / 20–25 calendar days
- Able to defend technical trade-offs directly with the client
- Working English for direct client communication and technical validation sessions
