Job Description
AI Engineer building Claude-powered invoice extraction, GL coding, and evaluation workflows. Automating accounts payable operations for T12 Technologies’ NetSuite finance program.
Responsibilities:
- Build Claude invoice intake, extraction, and GL coding workflows for an Oracle NetSuite accounts payable and vendor payment program
- Tune workflows against historical coding patterns, vendor mix, and live invoice volume during a parallel-run pilot
- Configure confidence tiers, auto-approval, exception routing, and human-in-the-loop thresholds for high-value transactions
- Author, test, and version prompts for coding, duplicate rationale, exception summaries, and anomaly analysis
- Build ground-truth evaluation sets, accuracy scoring, and regression checks for every change
- Validate extraction and coding accuracy against agreed targets and document acceptance evidence
- Build Claude-assisted monitoring automation and duplicate saved searches with investigation summaries and disposition drafts
- Build a budget-versus-actual variance commentary workflow for the finance team
- Support cutover, capture baseline metrics, and participate in post-implementation hypercare
Requirements:
- 2+ years building production workflows on LLM APIs (24 months minimum)
- Anthropic Claude strongly preferred
- Prompt engineering, structured extraction, and confidence scoring
- Strong Python and REST API integration
- Comfort working against a third-party ERP
- Production-quality document extraction for invoices, forms, contracts, or similar semi-structured documents
- Experience building evaluation sets and regression suites for non-deterministic output
- Structured output and schema validation, including handling malformed or low-confidence results
- Disciplined prompt iteration against real data
- Legal authorization to work in the United States as an independent contractor
- Minimum two references from production LLM work personally built; three preferred
- References must provide name, current title, organization, direct phone or email, project, and role
- Anthropic, cloud provider, or ML certifications with credential IDs, if held
- SuiteScript 2.x or prior NetSuite / ERP integration experience preferred
- AP, finance, or accounting document processing background preferred
- OCR and document-capture pipelines preferred
- Experience on a team where an architect owns the design and the candidate owns the build preferred
