Job Description
AI frontend lead building real-time voice-agent interfaces for CloudPSO’s enterprise AI platform. Leading React-based architecture, WebRTC/WebSocket integration, dashboards, and frontend team development.
Responsibilities:
- Own the frontend architecture, technology stack, and development roadmap for the Voice Agent platform
- Mentor and guide frontend developers, conduct code reviews, and establish frontend best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate mockups into responsive, accessible, pixel-perfect interfaces
- Build and maintain a reusable component library
- Implement real-time voice streaming interfaces using WebSocket and WebRTC
- Develop frontend components for audio capture, playback, and visualization
- Optimize frontend performance for seamless, low-latency real-time voice experiences
- Integrate backend AI services for STT, NLU, and TTS via RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections
- Implement state management for complex voice agent workflows and session handling
- Build administrative dashboards for agent performance, analytics, and system health monitoring
- Create interactive prototypes and demos for internal testing and client presentations
- Develop frontend proofs of concept for new AI features and capabilities
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end frontend testing strategies
- Ensure fast load times, smooth animations, responsive interactions, and WCAG-compliant accessibility
- Collaborate with AI engineers, backend teams, product stakeholders, and frontend developers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience is stated in the job header
- 7–9 years of frontend development experience, with at least 3+ years in a lead or senior role
- Deep expertise in React (preferred), Vue.js, or Angular
- Strong experience with Redux, Zustand, Context API, or equivalent state management libraries
- Hands-on experience with WebSocket and WebRTC for real-time communication
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with designers
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with backend teams to define API contracts
- Experience with Webpack, Vite, or equivalent build tools
- Experience with Git and continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for frontend deployment
- Basic understanding of AI concepts, STT, NLU, and TTS
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure for frontend hosting and deployment
- Experience with audio visualization, recording, or playback libraries
- Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development
- Familiarity with SIP, WebRTC, or PSTN integration is a plus
- Open-source frontend contributions are preferred
