Job Description
Cross-reference analyst matching industrial products, pricing, and data for Global Industrial. Supporting bid research and customer needs for its North American industrial equipment business.
Responsibilities:
- Receive customer product usage lists and provide equal or alternate product information from the Global Industrial website and catalog, sometimes within short turnaround timeframes
- Research and analyze internal costing and pricing information for products
- Analyze large data sheets from external partners for accuracy and correct product matches
- Support the Bid Desk team with product cross-reference research for time-sensitive bid opportunities
- Work with Global Industrial associates, product managers, and vendor partners to gather information, resolve customer needs, and improve processes
- Maintain and manage the internal Cross Reference database tool
- Support individual and team KPIs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a deadline-driven environment with high attention to accuracy
- Experience analyzing large data sets
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent written communication and comprehension
- Independent decision-making skills with the ability to handle and resolve complex issues
- Conversational, patient, and confident demeanor with a positive attitude
- Ability to complete projects and assignments accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use Windows-based systems, email, and chat programs
