Job Description
Full Stack Developer building secure Palantir Foundry applications and data pipelines for L3Harris, a defense technology company. Supporting enterprise finance, supply chain, operations, and engineering use cases.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of full stack applications, workflows, and supporting services within the Palantir Foundry platform
- Develop user-facing functionality, backend logic, and workflow features for enterprise use cases across finance, supply chain, operations, engineering, and strategic planning
- Translate user stories and functional requirements into technical solutions with guidance from senior developers and architects
- Assist with batch and near-real-time data pipelines integrating legacy enterprise systems into Foundry
- Implement data transformations, validations, and quality checks for reliable data products
- Align development with ontology models, governance standards, and integration patterns
- Write clean, maintainable, and documented code following team standards
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution
- Contribute to frontend and backend enhancements, including UI components, APIs, pipeline logic, and workflow automation
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives
- Provide task status updates, identify blockers, and support delivery commitments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and tooling
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, developers, security, infrastructure, and operations teams
- Support compliant and reliable deployments
- Apply enterprise architecture standards, secure development practices, and platform development guidelines
- Build proficiency in Palantir Foundry frameworks, ontology-driven application development, and enterprise data integration patterns
- Leverage modern and AI-assisted engineering tools where appropriate
- Continuously build technical knowledge in software engineering, data engineering, and platform-based application delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
- Experience developing software applications using Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar
- Experience with full stack software development, including frontend development, backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications
- Experience with relational or non-relational databases, data transformation logic, and systems integration
- Understanding of version control, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD concepts
- Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Code Repositories, Workshop, Operational Applications, or ontology-based development
- Experience building or supporting enterprise data pipelines, ETL processes, or application integrations across multiple systems
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Experience with backend/API development and scripting in Python or Java
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps concepts, containerization, or infrastructure automation
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled workflows, analytics applications, or data products
- Experience in regulated industries such as defense, aerospace, manufacturing, finance, or healthcare
- Familiarity with secure software development practices and data governance concepts
