Job Description
Area Manager selling Zoetis’ animal health, genomic, and veterinary products across the NSW Riverina. Building livestock-industry relationships, sales growth, and customer education.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the trusted source of information and go-to person for vet clinics, livestock producers and resellers
- Deliver technical training, supported by technical veterinarians, to sell genomic, animal health and veterinary products
- Build sales of key brands in line with the commercial plan
- Engage in producer-facing workshops and field days to deliver education and information on animal health and production
- Travel around the assigned territory to implement key marketing programs
- Use available tools to build positive relationships and generate sales growth in each account
- Develop new business while maintaining an existing client base
- Cultivate and nurture customer relationships and deliver value through professional customer service
Requirements:
- Passion for the livestock industry
- Ability to build lasting relationships with vet clinics, livestock producers and resellers
- Strength in utilising business insights
- Customer-obsessed approach and love for the livestock industry
- Ability to deliver technical training after training is provided
- Great communication skills
- Ability or comfort with public speaking
- Extensive animal health / veterinary sales experience preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in rural science, agribusiness or a related field preferred
- Right to work in Australia required
- Ability to travel around the assigned NSW Riverina territory in person
- Task orientation, proactive approach and well-developed organisational skills
- Positive and professional approach to customer service
