Job Description

Area Sales Manager expanding Classeq foodservice equipment sales across London and South East England. Managing distributors, sales targets, site surveys, CRM data, and regional customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with existing customers, including distributors, consultants and end users
  • Manage and develop key distributors in London and the South East of England
  • Meet pre-defined and agreed sales targets
  • Assist distributors with training and site surveys
  • Identify new distributors and group accounts, and develop sales plans
  • Support the regional sales team through mentoring, collaboration and teamwork
  • Communicate activity performance levels within the UK sales operation and to HQ
  • Ensure pricing and ancillary costs are correct and up to date
  • Collate and maintain accurate CRM data in line with GDPR guidelines
  • Use CRM intelligence to maximize sales opportunities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within the foodservice industry highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of the UK catering equipment distributor network highly desirable
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a logical career path in senior sales management
  • Understanding of key relationships and customer touch points within the UK supply chain
  • Clear understanding of the politics and commercial relationships within the UK foodservice market
  • Understanding of functional and ergonomic kitchen layouts
  • Sound working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
