Job Description

Join StratComm Inc. as an Assistant Project Manager intern. This role supports government project management in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Assistant (PA) is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the project management field.
  • The duties support various company government projects.
  • The programs oversee dozens of government contracts spanning across the country.
  • Maintain all company databases relating to Social Security Administration or other project contracts.
  • Maintaining accuracy and consistency for all project information/documentation sources.
  • Complete and maintain all support documentation for project conformances.
  • Review daily schedules of sub-contractors and government offices for accuracy.
  • Upload new schedules and update existing schedules with any changes.
  • Help maintain annual compliance requirements/documentation.
  • Interacting with government personnel, as well as sub-contractors.
  • Perform quality control (QC) on daily receipts of service performed.
  • Perform QC on Social Security hearing outcomes for invoicing purposes.
  • Systems management of candidate and subcontractor database – updating and inputting data, providing suggestions to improving tracking, workflow, etc.
  • SSA contract processing and tracking in database.
  • Assist in completion, issuance, and maintenance to VHR’s subcontract modification updates (filing and tracking).
  • Server file clean-up and organization.
  • Process training documentation organization.

Requirements:

  • Be able to work cross functionally with other project management teams.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft office applications and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and able to accurately resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills required (oral and written).
  • Previous staff scheduling experience a plus.
  • Excellent typing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
