Job Description
Remote Associate Commercial Title Examiner examining Wisconsin commercial property titles for First American Title. Preparing title commitments and researching public records under experienced team guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Performs title examination and examines the chain of title for orders within Wisconsin
- Prepares initial title commitment documentation based on the application of procedural guidelines
- May abstract records for residential properties
- Searches public records and examines titles to determine the legal condition of primarily commercial or industrial property title
- Copies or summarizes recorded documents affecting the condition of title
- Works under the guidance of experienced team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Entry level; experience in title/related real estate preferred
- Detail oriented
- Analytical ability
- Research skills
- Problem solving skills
- Customer service orientation
- Proficient MS skill set
