Job Description
Associate Director expanding College Board education-program adoption across Alaska, Wyoming, and Montana. Managing consultative sales cycles, strategic accounts, and territory growth remotely from the Western U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Drive growth and achieve sales goals for College Board programs and services within an assigned territory
- Execute established state and regional strategies
- Own a portfolio of accounts and a pipeline of opportunities from prospecting through close
- Build and maintain account management plans and business reviews for assigned accounts
- Develop data-driven, customized solutions for state and district needs
- Track progress toward individual, state, and regional goals
- Analyze territory trends using College Board data sources
- Drive consultative, solution-based sales cycles with district leaders
- Build and maintain knowledge of College Board programs, services, innovations, and broader K-12 trends
- Build and maintain relationships with state and district officials and identify partnership opportunities
- Conduct outreach to existing, new, and previous state/district partners
- Coordinate with district leadership and internal teams to support implementation of selected programs and services
- Use Salesforce CRM to monitor goals, account management, and opportunities
- Share sales strategies, insights, and innovations regionally and divisionally
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in education, sales, or a related field
- Interest in and commitment to a sales career path
- Comfort owning a pipeline, meeting goals, and driving partners toward adoption decisions
- Motivation to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Track record of setting and attaining ambitious goals
- Ability to build and sustain relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
- Ability to translate educator needs into actionable solutions and influence partners through consultative engagement
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, including managing workflows and supporting data-informed decision-making
- Bachelor's degree
- Willingness to travel frequently, up to 50%
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel and drive in inclement weather in rural areas
