Job Description

Associate Director leading paid social campaigns for Real Chemistry, a healthcare communications and marketing agency. Managing activation strategy, media buying, optimization, client reporting, and team development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead tactical strategy and planning for campaigns from a brief
  • Manage Managers/Associates working on the same accounts
  • Train the team to build campaigns in buying platforms, perform QA, and activate according to best practices
  • Attend meetings, statuses, and calls on behalf of account team members
  • Pull platform reporting and generate insights for Analytics readouts and client deliverables
  • Oversee monthly billing and actualization between vendors and internal teams
  • Lead planning alongside senior team members and the Integrated Media team
  • Vet vendor offerings and capabilities to ensure use of best-in-class technology and advanced tools
  • Maintain communication with vendor partners
  • Provide timely updates to internal and external campaign stakeholders
  • Participate in client meetings and conversations, leading when applicable
  • Support communications across accounts from brief response and strategic recommendations through multi-channel planning, measurement, launch, optimization, and results reporting
  • Lead preparation and presentation of client-facing campaign performance, optimization, recommendation, and wrap-up presentations
  • Onboard and train Managers/Associates on account specifics and media buying platforms

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in digital media campaign management, including buying platform management, campaign management, optimization, and digital media operations
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Programmatic, Paid Search, and/or Paid Social platforms
  • Successful track record of increasing responsibility
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading day-to-day meetings, statuses, and calls
  • Experience in complex platform strategy and tactical recommendations
  • Experience with client communication and deliverables
  • Pharmaceutical and healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Required collaboration across Integrated Media, Analytics, Strategy, Ad Operations, Creative, and other agency teams
  • Adaptability, resilience, prioritization, intellectual curiosity, and a solutions-oriented approach
  • Interest in leveraging data to inform decisions and adopting practical, responsible AI
