Job Description

Part-time Associate Faculty teaching criminal justice courses for Post University. Delivering instruction, evaluating students, and managing online course engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned criminal justice courses according to specified learning outcomes and syllabi
  • Facilitate class instruction and manage classroom/course conduct in accordance with university policies
  • Work with the Assistant/Program Chair and Student Advising to address student concerns
  • Evaluate student performance using course deliverables and rubrics
  • Post interim grades in the Blackboard Grade Center
  • Participate in discussion boards, class discussions, and chat sessions as required
  • Submit assignment, discussion board, exam, and course completion grades according to established requirements
  • Enter final grades in WebReg and the Blackboard Grade Center when applicable
  • Participate in and coordinate end-of-class “close the loop” meetings with APM as required

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant instruction/training experience related to criminal justice
  • Must have professional working experience in Criminal Justice or related field
