Job Description
Part-time associate faculty teaching graduate special education courses remotely at Post University. Delivering instruction, evaluating student performance, and submitting grades through Blackboard and WebReg.
Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned graduate special education courses according to learning outcomes and syllabi
- Facilitate class instruction and convey course material so students attain instructional outcomes
- Manage classroom conduct and academic engagement
- Work with the program chair and Student Advising to address student concerns
- Evaluate student performance using course deliverables and rubrics
- Post interim grades in the Blackboard Grade Center
- Submit final course grades in WebReg and the Blackboard Grade Center
- Participate in course discussions, activities, and assignments
- Submit grades for assignments, discussion board exercises, exams, and course completion according to established requirements
- Fully engage students and maintain a high-touch effort with students
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Ed.D and/or Ph.D
- Significant related experience in special education, education, or a related field
- Be available to teach remotely and meet students’ diverse needs
- Official college transcripts on file with Associate Experience
- Complete a training session prior to the first teaching assignment
- Follow university procedures, regulations, policies, and guidelines
