Job Description

Associate Software Engineer designing and maintaining Keyfactor’s trust infrastructure software. Writing code, debugging, reviewing changes, and collaborating on Agile development with QA teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of software code bases
  • Participate in learning opportunities to build fundamental software engineering skills
  • Follow coding standards and contribute to pull requests and code reviews
  • Work with team members to address code and architectural challenges
  • Help develop and maintain technical documentation for software projects
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance teams and participate in QA efforts when needed
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative development processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in software engineering or a related field
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in relevant tools and technologies
  • Basic coding skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Strong collaborative mindset
  • Ability to work independently, mentor junior team members, and contribute to process improvements
  • Ability to execute tasks with supervision and contribute to team projects
  • In-depth understanding of the industry, company processes, and job-specific methodologies
  • Basic understanding of the software development life cycle, Agile practices, and coding standards
  • United States-based applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
