Job Description
Associate Software Engineer designing and maintaining Keyfactor’s trust infrastructure software. Writing code, debugging, reviewing changes, and collaborating on Agile development with QA teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of software code bases
- Participate in learning opportunities to build fundamental software engineering skills
- Follow coding standards and contribute to pull requests and code reviews
- Work with team members to address code and architectural challenges
- Help develop and maintain technical documentation for software projects
- Work closely with Quality Assurance teams and participate in QA efforts when needed
- Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative development processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in software engineering or a related field
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency in relevant tools and technologies
- Basic coding skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Strong collaborative mindset
- Ability to work independently, mentor junior team members, and contribute to process improvements
- Ability to execute tasks with supervision and contribute to team projects
- In-depth understanding of the industry, company processes, and job-specific methodologies
- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle, Agile practices, and coding standards
- United States-based applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
