Job Description

QA Lead testing Adobe Experience Manager applications for Bounteous, a global AI services firm. Leading automation, accessibility, API, UI/UX, and release-quality initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices for AEM projects
  • Lead and mentor QA engineers, providing technical guidance and direction
  • Establish quality gates across the SDLC and ensure adherence to testing processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and product quality
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and release readiness activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle
  • Establish and enforce test case review processes, including QA Lead review and approval before execution
  • Review requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrices
  • Validate AEM components, templates, workflows, content fragments, and experience fragments
  • Perform end-to-end testing across Author, Publish, Dispatcher, and Production environments
  • Conduct regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and UAT support testing
  • Validate responsive behavior across browsers and devices
  • Maintain test cases in AgileTest and ensure requirements-to-defect traceability
  • Test AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and Headless implementations
  • Validate authoring, publishing workflows, approvals, versioning, dispatcher caching, and content delivery
  • Test integrations with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and third-party systems
  • Validate SEO implementations within AEM
  • Review Figma designs and validate pixel-perfect UI/UX implementation
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools
  • Automate UI, API, and regression suites and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Validate REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and AEM microservices using Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured
  • Lead accessibility testing for WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, and related standards
  • Conduct accessibility audits and validate keyboard navigation, focus management, screen readers, color contrast, and semantic HTML
  • Manage the defect lifecycle using JIRA
  • Track quality metrics and provide stakeholder status reports
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement defect prevention strategies
  • Support release sign-offs and production validation activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of QA experience with at least 3+ years in a QA Lead role
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications
  • Strong understanding of AEM architecture, content management concepts, Author/Publish environments, Dispatcher, and workflows
  • Experience in manual and automated testing methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, SDLC, and STLC practices
  • Experience working with distributed teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites, Assets, Forms)
