Job Description
Analytic Compliance Audit Analyst II auditing FICO's B2B analytics and myFICO financial education platform. Testing models, data, controls, and compliance risks through investigative analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analytic audits of B2B analytic products and B2C myfico.com platforms
- Evaluate how models, data, and business processes are built, tested, and controlled
- Apply hypothesis-driven compliance monitoring and periodic testing
- Investigate data and process anomalies, form root-cause hypotheses, and validate them with evidence
- Analyze samples of data, transactions, or system outputs to test control effectiveness
- Document methodologies and findings for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Build knowledge of FICO's product development lifecycle, data ecosystems, and controls across B2B and B2C environments
- Partner with engineering, product, and data science teams
- Track open findings through resolution and escalate to senior staff as needed
- Contribute to management reporting on compliance program performance
- Monitor state and federal regulations, consumer protection and data privacy best practices, and related technical and analytic requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent analytic reviews
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (data science, statistics, computer science, applied math, economics, or related quantitative discipline) (Highly Preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, analytics, quantitative research, or a related technical role
- Prior exposure or experience supporting compliance analytics, evaluating risks, and maintaining applicable documentation highly preferred
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry (banking, consumer lending, healthcare, insurance, fintech) highly preferred, and/or experience auditing analytics
- Natural investigative mindset and ability to investigate data patterns
- Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor
- Ability to translate technical findings into clear written and verbal communication for non-technical audiences
- Comfort with Excel, including pivot tables, at minimum
- Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative
- Comfortable learning on the job in a highly regulated, fast-moving environment
- Skilled in using AI tools to increase efficiency across the analytic workflow
