Job Description

Azure Cloud DevOps role at Valtech involving designing CI/CD pipelines and managing Azure infrastructure. Ensuring high availability and collaborating with development teams for cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Deploy, operate, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Deploy, operate, and scale Serverless applications.
  • Implement and maintain platform standards, patterns, and best practices across teams.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor, etc.).
  • Support release management, deployments, and incident response activities.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Apply security best practices in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, Kubernetes environments and Serverless environments.
  • Continuously improve automation to reduce manual work and operational toil.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to improve system resilience

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role
  • Comfortable working with Azure and CI/CD tools
  • Strong technical skills with good communication and collaboration abilities
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AKS in production environments
  • Hands-on experience with Serverless Applications in production environments
  • Proficient with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Worked with container technologies (Docker) and container registries
  • Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions
  • Comfortable scripting or programming (Bash, Python, Go, etc.) for automation
  • Understand networking, security, and identity concepts in cloud environments
  • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to continuously learn and improve
