Job Description
Azure Cloud DevOps role at Valtech involving designing CI/CD pipelines and managing Azure infrastructure. Ensuring high availability and collaborating with development teams for cloud-native solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Deploy, operate, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Deploy, operate, and scale Serverless applications.
- Implement and maintain platform standards, patterns, and best practices across teams.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor, etc.).
- Support release management, deployments, and incident response activities.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Apply security best practices in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, Kubernetes environments and Serverless environments.
- Continuously improve automation to reduce manual work and operational toil.
- Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to improve system resilience
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role
- Comfortable working with Azure and CI/CD tools
- Strong technical skills with good communication and collaboration abilities
- Solid experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AKS in production environments
- Hands-on experience with Serverless Applications in production environments
- Proficient with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Worked with container technologies (Docker) and container registries
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions
- Comfortable scripting or programming (Bash, Python, Go, etc.) for automation
- Understand networking, security, and identity concepts in cloud environments
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to continuously learn and improve
