Job Description
Backend Developer designing and developing software components for cloud-based platforms. Collaborating with teams to ensure performance and quality in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of software components for the backend of a cloud-based platform, including web applications
- Specifying, developing, and integrating interfaces (APIs)
- Writing unit and integration tests to ensure software quality
- Configuring, building, and deploying components using container-based approaches
- Monitoring software in production to ensure stability and performance
- Actively participating in knowledge sharing and sharing expertise with team members
- Closely collaborating with colleagues and with other agile, cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Solid experience in backend development with C# and the .NET Framework
- Basic knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Basic knowledge of Git and Git Flow
- A basic interest in Clean Code principles and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Fast learner with high motivation
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills
- Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Nice to have: Experience with deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
- Knowledge of React
- Experience in direct customer support / client-facing experience
