Job Description
BI Platform Developer building Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and cloud analytics platforms for Keypath Education’s online university programs. Improving BI governance, deployment, and data-driven education access.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports that transform data into actionable business insights
- Build, optimise and maintain scalable semantic models for trusted, self-service analytics
- Partner with stakeholders to understand challenges, uncover opportunities and deliver value-creating solutions
- Enhance the enterprise BI platform through reporting design, usability, governance and performance best practices
- Develop and improve deployment processes using Azure DevOps and CI/CD frameworks
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues and improve user experience
- Support data governance, security and quality standards
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing data team
Requirements:
- Experience developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, DAX, SQL and data visualisation best practices
- Experience working with modern cloud-based analytics platforms, ideally Microsoft Fabric
- Understanding of BI governance, security and performance optimisation principles
- Experience supporting deployment and release processes in environments that leverage CI/CD practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex concepts for a broad range of stakeholders
- Collaborative approach and passion for helping others use data to make better decisions
- Continuous improvement mindset and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches
- Must reside in Malaysia with full working rights
