Job Description
Bilingual Customer Service Agent processing orders and managing inquiries from customers in Canada. Collaborating with internal teams to facilitate order management and resolution of discrepancies remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Process orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact.
- Maintain customer files with sales contracts and other information.
- Give price quotations, complete order sheets, and check price and quantity of items.
- Distribute order sheets to respective departments and coordinate order status, shipping dates, prices, and product availability.
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries via phone and CRM regarding orders and support.
- Research and resolve order discrepancies using critical thinking.
- Accurately process various order types via phone, email, and EDI.
- Proactively manage open sales orders for timely shipments and communication.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Distribution, and Technical Service.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and ERP systems.
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Education
- Two years’ experience working in a call center/customer service environment
- Bilingualism (Fluent in both French and English, to include writing and speaking)
