Job Description
T-SQL developer converting client data into TELUS Health’s Central Data Repository. Testing transformations, supporting implementations, and resolving data issues for enterprise health clients.
Responsibilities:
- Program data transformations to integrate clients' initial data into the Central Data Repository (CDR)
- Verify data transformations with unit tests
- Adjust T-SQL programming based on feedback from QA, Data Conversion leads, testing teams, integrated testing, and clients
- Meet project deadlines and communicate risks of delay to the Data Lead or Project Manager
- Participate in creating and executing corrective scripts on internal and client environments
- Assist and support clients and implementation resources with data issues
- Provide technical support for internal resources through T-SQL extracts
- Review control reports from the loading process and related action items with the Quality Assurance team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
- Fluency in English and French (written and oral)
- Strong experience with T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio
- Experience with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and Excel is an asset
- Capable of communicating with technical and non-technical people
- Intermediate knowledge of English required for regular interaction with English-speaking parties and use of English IT tools
- Subject to Government of Canada Personnel Security Screening if job functions require data center work or access to detailed client-service technology knowledge
