Job Description
IT Brand Ambassador advising CDW.com customers on enterprise hardware and infrastructure solutions. Delivering white-glove chat support and consultative purchasing guidance for CDW.com.
Responsibilities:
- Represent CDW.com as an elite IT Brand Ambassador
- Provide high-skill, white-glove chat interactions
- Understand customer challenges
- Recommend appropriate products and IT solutions
- Guide confident purchasing decisions
- Provide expert recommendations across enterprise hardware, infrastructure, and IT solutions
- Deliver a premium support experience emphasizing value, empathy, and technical expertise
- Build customer loyalty through memorable interactions and successful outcomes
- Represent CDW's portfolio and navigate product comparisons
- Use consultative communication to uncover customer needs and guide them toward appropriate outcomes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of IT industry experience
- Background in large-scale corporate, healthcare, or institutional IT highly beneficial
- Deep familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Familiarity with Dell, HP, Cisco, and Apple hardware
- Exceptional written communication ability demonstrating warmth and expertise
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent conversations professionally and accurately
- Desktop or laptop required; mobile/tablets not supported
- Stable high-speed internet of 10 Mbps or more
- Reliable audio capability
- Employment as a 1099 independent contractor
