Job Description
Business Analyst integrating healthcare data and configuring systems for Ventra’s revenue cycle management solutions. Bridging client IT and internal technical teams for successful implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client IT teams to acquire healthcare data feeds for revenue cycle management
- Gather data and system configuration requirements for internal IT teams
- Develop and maintain data mapping specifications
- Provide specifications for system configuration, data parsers, and custom workflows
- Ensure data parsers are built, optimized, and tested
- Coordinate and oversee data integration and system configuration testing
- Serve as liaison between client IT, internal implementation, and internal IT teams
- Document system configurations, data mappings, and workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues
- Optimize system configurations, data parsers, and integration workflows
- Apply healthcare IT trends and best practices to improve integrations and process efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, data integration, or technical roles within the healthcare industry
- Proven experience with system configuration, data mapping, building data parsers, and working with internal IT teams to customize systems
- Strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management systems and data integration tools
- Experience in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for healthcare projects is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of US healthcare revenue cycle management processes, including patient registration, coding, billing, collections, and claims management
- Experience with system configuration, data mapping, and working with or building data parsers for integration of complex data feeds
- Ability to gather and translate functional and technical requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in creating detailed data mappings, system configurations, and technical workflows
- Ability to stay current with healthcare IT trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
- High attention to detail to ensure data integrity and accurate system configurations
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
