Job Description

Business Analyst translating ambiguous needs into actionable requirements for BetterMe’s mobile wellness ecosystem. Collaborating with Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, and QA teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate business needs into clear, complete, and actionable requirements
  • Drive requirements gathering, analysis, and refinement end-to-end
  • Identify gaps, ambiguities, dependencies, edge cases, and potential risks
  • Explore possible approaches and help shape solutions with Product and Engineering
  • Lead and facilitate grooming sessions before development starts
  • Develop and maintain PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Build shared understanding with Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, QA, and other stakeholders
  • Manage multiple parallel tasks while maintaining context and commitments
  • Communicate risks and blockers proactively
  • Use AI tools for research, analysis, requirements refinement, and documentation while validating outputs and owning the final result

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience with B2C digital products and/or products with a large user base
  • Strong requirements analysis skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to turn ambiguous needs into clear, actionable requirements
  • Ownership mindset and ability to deliver with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail across multiple parallel workstreams
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Understanding of frontend/mobile and backend system interactions
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and ability to incorporate them into BA activities
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
  • English level — Upper Intermediate
  • Experience with mobile products, healthtech, wellness, or fitness products is a plus
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and Figma is a plus
