Job Description
Business Analyst optimizing Intel business processes, requirements, UAT, and data quality. Supporting digital product delivery and lightweight project management on a 12-month US contract.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex business problems and develop recommendations
- Gather and clarify business requirements
- Answer questions about data elements and their relationships to business processes and workflows
- Decompose, analyze, simplify, and optimize business processes
- Organize business design sessions and blueprinting for future-state tool, process, and people design
- Identify automation opportunities and stay current on modern IT tools and capabilities
- Coordinate with business and development stakeholders on project features and updates
- Relay client feedback and instruct development teams on amendments
- Determine the feasibility of proposed features
- Test feature prototypes with clients and record their experiences
- Conduct user acceptance testing to assess whether prototypes meet project requirements
- Provide input to system design and make functionality and configuration decisions
- Gauge and measure data quality and provide troubleshooting support
- Perform project management on smaller efforts, including scope, time, and quality management
- Work across multiple applications, projects, and programs simultaneously
- Record, monitor, and publish project, program, and process KPIs
- Document progress and report regularly to senior stakeholders
- Review reports and metrics and recommend improvements to business-process quality and efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related degree with 4+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, OR Master's degree in Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience gathering, documenting, and managing complex business and functional requirements
- Solid understanding of data structures, data flows, and data quality management
- Experience leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validating solutions against requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects, applications, or programs
- Business process analysis and optimization
- Requirements elicitation and documentation
- Stakeholder engagement and facilitation
- Strong experience analyzing, decomposing, and optimizing end-to-end business processes
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, UX, product, and engineering
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, including with senior stakeholders
- Data analysis and data quality management, including UAT and validation
- Agile product development support
- Process mapping and workflow design
- Digital product and IT systems collaboration
- Project coordination and lightweight project management responsibilities
- Must live and work in the United States; Intel immigration sponsorship is not available
