Job Description

Business Developer expanding Inframark’s infrastructure and public-sector partnerships. Building municipal, utility, and community relationships while pursuing high-value projects in Katy, Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with municipal officials, community leaders, utility providers, consulting engineers, and engineering firms
  • Develop and execute market growth strategies to increase market share and expand business opportunities
  • Identify, research, and pursue infrastructure and public works projects through existing and emerging sales channels
  • Lead major project pursuits by collaborating with internal teams and sales partners to create winning strategies
  • Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers and purchasing influencers
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, community events, and professional associations
  • Manage project opportunities from early development through proposal, selection, and contract award
  • Procure and review RFQs, RFPs, bid documents, and related procurement materials
  • Coordinate proposals, pricing, bid submissions, contracts, and supporting documentation
  • Assist with proposal presentations and project startup activities
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
  • Analyze project outcomes and identify opportunities to improve future win rates
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and business conditions that may impact growth opportunities

Requirements:

  • Strong business development, sales, or relationship management experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build credibility and influence decision-makers at multiple levels
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and pursuits simultaneously
  • 5-10 years of related business development, community engagement, sales, municipal, utility, infrastructure, or industry experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • Approximately 30% overnight travel
