Job Description
Business Developer expanding Inframark’s infrastructure and public-sector partnerships. Building municipal, utility, and community relationships while pursuing high-value projects in Katy, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with municipal officials, community leaders, utility providers, consulting engineers, and engineering firms
- Develop and execute market growth strategies to increase market share and expand business opportunities
- Identify, research, and pursue infrastructure and public works projects through existing and emerging sales channels
- Lead major project pursuits by collaborating with internal teams and sales partners to create winning strategies
- Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers and purchasing influencers
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, community events, and professional associations
- Manage project opportunities from early development through proposal, selection, and contract award
- Procure and review RFQs, RFPs, bid documents, and related procurement materials
- Coordinate proposals, pricing, bid submissions, contracts, and supporting documentation
- Assist with proposal presentations and project startup activities
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
- Analyze project outcomes and identify opportunities to improve future win rates
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and business conditions that may impact growth opportunities
Requirements:
- Strong business development, sales, or relationship management experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to build credibility and influence decision-makers at multiple levels
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple projects and pursuits simultaneously
- 5-10 years of related business development, community engagement, sales, municipal, utility, infrastructure, or industry experience
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Approximately 30% overnight travel
