Job Description

Business Development Associate identifying and engaging energy companies across the oil and gas value chain. Building relationships and generating qualified meetings for business development goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage prospective clients across the oil and gas value chain, from operators to EPC and services
  • Generate qualified meetings through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, networking, referrals, email campaigns and market research
  • Build relationships with HR Directors, Talent Acquisition Managers, Project Directors, Operations Managers, Procurement Heads and Country Managers
  • Schedule and prepare meetings for the Business Development leadership team
  • Build and maintain a healthy, honest pipeline in our CRM
  • Understand each client's hiring challenge before positioning our recruitment and HR advisory solutions
  • Track project awards, rig activity, EPC contracts and energy programs and turn market intelligence into opportunity
  • Represent Black & Grey HR in energy industry events and exhibitions with the presence the brand demands

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Fresh graduates welcome. Attitude and communication matter more than tenure
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Natural relationship builder with the confidence to engage senior professionals
  • Strong commercial awareness and genuine curiosity about the energy industry
  • Self motivated, energetic and target driven
  • Persistent, resilient and organized in follow up
