Job Description
Business Development Associate selling Bridgestone software solutions to tire dealers, repair chains, and dealerships. Managing prospecting, demonstrations, negotiations, closing, and onboarding coordination remotely across the United States and Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed product and service sales targets
- Develop sales opportunities within the tire retail, automotive repair, and service sector
- Conduct direct sales highlighting the case for change and the company’s solution
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead qualification, needs analysis, solution recommendation, pricing, and contract negotiation
- Identify and evaluate client needs to recommend suitable products and services
- Develop written proposals, sales quotes, and solution summaries
- Compile and analyze data to strengthen sales documentation
- Create case studies from existing client accounts
- Oversee the sales cycle from closing deals through scheduling and tracking implementation milestones
- Engage with industry professionals and showcase company offerings at events and trade shows in Canada and the United States
- Coordinate onboarding assistance
- Travel approximately 5%–10% for business purposes
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience selling and managing SaaS systems and accounts with a proven sales-success track record
- Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses
- Proven sales success working directly in person with customers, decision-makers, and key stakeholders
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
- 100% comfort with cold calling
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Creative problem-solving and attention to detail
- Strong initiative and outstanding work ethic
- Ability to interact professionally with various levels of leadership
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
- Automotive-sector experience considered an asset
- Must obtain and maintain necessary travel documents, a driver’s license, and related legal documents
- Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification required at start of employment
- Temporary work authorization or need for sponsorship may disqualify employment
