Job Description

Business Development Manager selling IPG’s e-fulfillment packaging solutions. Pursuing accounts, managing implementations, and driving revenue across CA, WA, and AZ.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the product and application expert for existing and new products/solutions relevant to e-Fulfillment operations
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for new products with decision-makers and influencers within e-Fulfillment organizations
  • Prospect fulfillment centers and conduct needs-development activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key fulfillment center personnel
  • Achieve assigned revenue and contribution margin goals
  • Manage the sales process from needs development through implementation of IPG solutions
  • Address customer complaints by executing process improvements and facilitating solution implementation
  • Coordinate site visits with relevant IPG functional representatives
  • Provide customer communications regarding implementation, execution, best practices, products, features, and partnerships
  • Provide forecasts for assigned product lines
  • Serve as a field feedback resource for new product development
  • Participate in development, launch, and marketing of new products and services
  • Collaborate with department managers and corporate staff to develop long-term customer business plans
  • Develop and maintain forecast models
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited university or college required
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development within the packaging industry, preferably serving e-Fulfillment businesses
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated strong and consistent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive customer service mindset; team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Must be able to travel independently by air or vehicle; approximately 50%+ travel required
