Job Description
Business Development Manager in Life Sciences managing accounts and generating new opportunities. Building strong relationships with clients and preparing strategic sales reports.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationship with new and existing accounts
- Build rapport with account decision makers
- Manage a portfolio of accounts as the primary point of contact
- Conduct extensive outbound sales calls to generate new business opportunities
- Engage with clients and prospects to uncover new opportunities
- Prepare periodic sales reports detailing sales volume and potential sales
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to align with company objectives
- Foster close professional relationships with client contacts
Requirements:
- Three years of experience selling staffing, products, and or services to Senior Management level individuals
- Proven experience in strategic selling, major account/national account development, and contract negotiation
- Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures
- Make quality decisions and meet timeliness of those decisions
- Work independently and proactively accomplish business needs
- Engage effectively in dialogue and establish rapport
