Job Description

Business Development Manager in Life Sciences managing accounts and generating new opportunities. Building strong relationships with clients and preparing strategic sales reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationship with new and existing accounts
  • Build rapport with account decision makers
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts as the primary point of contact
  • Conduct extensive outbound sales calls to generate new business opportunities
  • Engage with clients and prospects to uncover new opportunities
  • Prepare periodic sales reports detailing sales volume and potential sales
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to align with company objectives
  • Foster close professional relationships with client contacts

Requirements:

  • Three years of experience selling staffing, products, and or services to Senior Management level individuals
  • Proven experience in strategic selling, major account/national account development, and contract negotiation
  • Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures
  • Make quality decisions and meet timeliness of those decisions
  • Work independently and proactively accomplish business needs
  • Engage effectively in dialogue and establish rapport
