Job Description

Business Development Manager helping AMBOSS, a medical learning and clinical decision-support platform, expand university partnerships across Australia. Driving market strategy, sales, events, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan which medical schools and universities in Australia and other Asia-Pacific regions do not yet offer AMBOSS licenses
  • Build relationships with active users and decision-makers
  • Extend partnerships from universities to affiliated institutions
  • Conduct needs analyses and create tailored presentations for university partners
  • Act as the interface between medical students and Customer Success, Sales Operations, and Marketing teams
  • Plan projects and events on behalf of AMBOSS
  • Support universities from initial approach through successful implementation
  • Analyze and evaluate usage data with the Data Team and Sales Operations
  • Represent AMBOSS at events and build the brand network
  • Drive product and commercial partnerships to grow awareness and revenue
  • Test newly implemented concepts and products, including AMBOSS AI Mode
  • Assess product-market fit and licensing across Australia's medical schools and universities
  • Support other Asia-Pacific markets as the company grows

Requirements:

  • Licensed medical degree from Australia
  • Clinical or consultancy experience is ideal
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt language for diverse stakeholders
  • Interest in digital solutions and their impact on medical education and clinical practice
  • Experience in networking or strong interest in building healthcare and higher-education relationships
  • Willingness to travel across Australia
  • Project management skills
  • Independent, structured working style
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Valid work permit in Australia
  • Availability to work 38 hours per week for a minimum of one year
