Job Description
Business Development Manager scaling Mytos’s automated regenerative-medicine manufacturing platform. Selling complex biotech solutions and proof-of-value studies to scientific and executive buyers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive top-of-funnel activity through creative prospecting through close
- Generate and manage your own pipeline in a full-funnel sales role
- Run discovery with scientific and economic buyers, including VPs of Manufacturing, Heads of CMC, CEOs, and founders
- Sell on value rather than price or features
- Qualify opportunities deeply and remove non-viable deals quickly using MEDDPICC-style processes
- Work with internal and customer teams to design proof-of-value studies demonstrating technical fit and ROI
- Organise internal and external teams and keep work on schedule
- Capture and share customer and market insights to inform product and business decisions
- Prepare target lists and execute outreach for conferences, events, and dinners
- Build customer trust and help customer programmes succeed
- Report directly to Co-Founder and CCO Ignacio
Requirements:
- Multiple years selling complex deals into biotech, cell and gene therapy, bioprocessing, CDMO services, or life-science tools
- Experience with six- to seven-figure deal sizes and multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Track record of selling innovation from a company few people have heard of
- High ownership in a low-resource environment
- Experience building prospect lists, sales decks, and ROI models
- Enough scientific fluency to earn trust
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, including to the UK, Asia, and across the US
- Rigour under speed
- Grit and willingness to work long hours when needed
