Job Description

Business Development Representative expanding corporate partnerships for The Intern Group’s international internship programs. Managing prospecting, sales cycles, partner onboarding, and internship program support.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and build targeted prospect lists of global organizations
  • Prospect and connect with potential partners through LinkedIn, email, phone, and events
  • Progress qualified leads through the sales pipeline and convert them into partnerships
  • Onboard partners onto the technology platform
  • Lead and execute discovery calls and presentations across industries and locations
  • Manage the partner onboarding process
  • Collaborate with marketing on communication and social selling strategies
  • Research, build, and manage prospective client data lists
  • Improve processes through automation and technology
  • Support new partners with internship design, training, and structure
  • Build long-lasting relationships with external contacts and internal departments
  • Own the full sales cycle and accountability for assigned countries and industries

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to thrive in a remote-first environment, demonstrating self-motivation, discipline, and strong time management
  • 1+ years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management, with a successful track record in client acquisition and relationship building
  • Entrepreneurial/start-up experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with data and sales software, such as HubSpot, Zoho, or Salesforce
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, with experience managing clients through the full sales cycle
  • Target-driven with a results-focused mindset
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a growth-oriented mindset
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel within LATAM for client meetings, conferences, events, and training approximately once a quarter
  • Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for travel, education, and cultural exchange
