Job Description

Business Development Representative qualifying commercial and enterprise leads for Docker, a developer tooling company. Prospecting, scheduling discovery meetings, and building pipeline across DACH markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect to existing Docker users likely to acquire commercial licenses
  • Identify prospective customers’ needs and challenges
  • Determine prospects’ interest in Docker
  • Schedule discovery meetings for sales representatives and prospects
  • Achieve targets for qualified prospects and new opportunities
  • Respond to and qualify incoming product inquiries
  • Create positive prospect and customer touchpoints
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to share customer feedback
  • Engage in team development and mentoring
  • Perform prospecting, lead qualification, appointment setting, warm handoffs, Salesforce hygiene, and pipeline management
  • Research target accounts and decision-makers
  • Reach prospects through cold calls, email, chat, and social media
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Docker products and pitch
  • Adhere to team KPI metrics and prospecting standards
  • Improve messaging, processes, and daily activities
  • Operate independently at full speed after onboarding

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in German and English required
  • 1+ years of work experience in a Sales role
  • Demonstrated track record of success
  • Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills
  • Willingness to gain a strong understanding of the industry and product use cases/value propositions
  • High integrity and team-first mentality
  • Detail-oriented and strong work ethic
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where applying
  • Docker does not offer visa sponsorship for this role
