Job Description
Associate Business Development Representative supporting Coursedog’s higher-education sales team. Executing prospect outreach, qualifying leads, and building pipeline with Salesforce and AI tools.
Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in the higher education market
- Execute outreach campaigns and follow prospecting sequences under Sales leadership
- Log prospect interactions, activities, and outcomes accurately in Salesforce
- Participate in discovery calls and prospect conversations
- Research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and organize prospect information for Account Executives
- Qualify inbound leads from Marketing and determine fit
- Communicate professionally with prospects through email and phone
- Provide feedback from prospect conversations to the manager and broader team
- Learn the product suite and explain core features and benefits to prospects
- Explore and apply AI tools to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and personalize outbound work
- Complete onboarding, shadow experienced team members, and learn internal systems and processes
- Independently manage outreach sequences and Salesforce activity tracking
- Meet activity and qualification targets and contribute outreach ideas
- Mentor incoming associates and support onboarding
Requirements:
- Eagerness to learn sales fundamentals and willingness to ask questions and seek feedback
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to follow processes and track details
- Comfort with technology and aptitude for learning Salesforce and sales platforms
- Resilience and ability to handle rejection constructively in a metrics-driven environment
- Collaborative mindset and interest in working alongside experienced sales professionals
- Basic familiarity with AI applications and curiosity to learn and experiment with emerging tools
- Ability to work in the US
- Availability during standard business hours
