Job Description

Business Unit Director overseeing server racks and networking infrastructure at Jabil. Driving scalable growth and operational excellence for hyperscale, enterprise, and cloud customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall strategy, execution, and financial performance for server rack and networking rack programs, including integrated rack solutions for hyperscale and enterprise customers.
  • Define growth roadmap across rack integration, mechanical assemblies, and full system solutions aligned to data center market demand.
  • Own full P&L accountability including revenue growth, margin expansion, pricing strategy, cost optimization, and forecast accuracy.
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships with hyperscale, cloud, and networking customers.
  • Act as the primary commercial leader for key accounts, ensuring alignment on roadmaps, delivery, and value creation.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to deliver high-quality rack manufacturing and integration (sheet metal, assembly, cable management, thermal solutions).
  • Lead new program launches, customer onboarding, and ramp of new rack designs and configurations.
  • Track industry trends in data center infrastructure, racks, networking hardware, and AI/compute platforms.
  • Drive improvements in cycle time, inventory turns, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Present business performance, risks, and strategy in internal leadership reviews and customer forums.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10–12+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, EMS, or data center infrastructure.
  • Strong experience in server racks, networking racks, chassis, or mechanical assemblies manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of P&L ownership, pricing strategy, and margin management.
  • Demonstrated success managing customer-facing programs in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen including contract negotiation and business development.
  • Deep understanding of: Mechanical manufacturing (sheet metal, fabrication, assembly), Rack integration and system-level build, Supply chain and sourcing strategies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
