Job Description

Nuvision Credit Union member contact representative providing remote banking support, account servicing, and transaction processing. Handling member inquiries while meeting service, sales, and compliance goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exemplary and efficient member service via phones, e-mail, web channels, mail, and facsimile
  • Process deposits and withdrawals
  • Review account information and credit/card transactions
  • Process loan payments
  • Provide basic online banking support
  • Support Credit Union depository and lending products and achieve established cross-sell goals
  • Remain on the phone in a queue throughout the day and adhere to the assigned schedule
  • Consult with members, identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on pending transactions
  • Recommend appropriate products and services
  • Open new Member Accounts, including Savings, Checking, Money Market, Trust, Certificates, and IRA accounts
  • Complete account forms and agreements
  • Perform account maintenance, including address/name changes, ownership and beneficiary updates, account closures, deceased accounts, and notary services
  • Identify and report suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity
  • Complete required training and compliance modules
  • Support continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain confidentiality of member and sensitive information
  • Represent Nuvision Credit Union positively and professionally
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1 year retail experience with a proven track record in meeting and or exceeding service and sales goals
  • Basic understanding of financial products and services
  • Professional verbal skills and etiquette
  • Competent computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • Remote signing experience/ability
  • Ability to work and operate a webcam
  • Excellent follow up
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and anticipate member needs
  • Excellent written skills (Email), grammar and spelling
  • Member service and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with other departments as a team player
  • Genuine interest in helping members through Conversations that Matter and an empathetic and caring nature

  • Personable and professional
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
