Job Description

Cell therapy account executive driving CAR-T adoption and treatment-center relationships for Autolus, a biopharmaceutical company developing programmed T-cell therapies. Coordinating clinical logistics, stakeholder education, strategic accounts, and cross-functional commercial activities across the U.S. Midwest.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs) in the Midwest region
  • Serve as the ATC’s primary point of contact with Autolus
  • Drive appropriate utilization of Autolus’ CAR T therapies within accounts
  • Coordinate Autolus activities within ATCs and create cross-functional strategic account plans
  • Manage account profiles and develop relationships with senior leaders, thought leaders, decision-makers, and key stakeholders
  • Identify stakeholder needs and collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Quality, and other colleagues to develop solutions
  • Coordinate site qualification, site setup, and patient treatment activities
  • Manage compliance-related activities, including periodic audits
  • Provide clinical instruction to clinical staff
  • Oversee patient treatment-area activities to ensure Chain of Identity compliance with SOP protocols
  • Assess therapy performance and execute strategic account plans
  • Educate ATC stakeholders on Autolus therapies, approved messaging, and clinical data
  • Maintain clinical expertise in haematology, immunology, aALL disease and treatment, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
  • Provide Medical Affairs with feedback and insights from healthcare-professional interactions
  • Support professional meetings by staffing exhibits, reporting on scientific sessions, and facilitating meetings with thought leaders
  • Report account trends, therapeutic-landscape changes, industry issues, and business opportunities to Autolus management
  • Participate in grassroots advocacy and engagement activities
  • Operate in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Autolus policies
  • Identify, communicate, and manage site-specific symposiums and clinical opportunities involving aALL and CAR-T

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, plus breadth of experience
  • 5–7 years of experience in haematology, oncology disease, and treatment landscape
  • Demonstrated record of successful CAR-T oncology account management in academic and non-academic settings (preferred)
  • CAR-T launch experience with one or more CAR-T products in the United States (preferred)
  • Proven history of leading cross-functional teams and cultivating B2B opportunities (preferred)
  • Experience attaining customer insights and driving change in day-to-day operations (preferred)
  • Ability to operate with little direction and produce exceptional results (preferred)
  • Demonstrated successful account management in large accounts
  • Direct or indirect line leadership experience
  • Strong brand differentiation skills
  • Deep clinical expertise in haematology/oncology disease and treatment landscape
  • Strong clinical understanding of cell therapy and ability to manage complex treatment logistics
  • Ability to access and handle business information in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Autolus policies
  • Extensive overnight travel required
