Job Description
Cellular therapy account director launching Pierre Fabre’s Tab-cel treatment for rare EBV+ PTLD. Managing Northeast academic and transplant-center relationships, onboarding, and utilization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead disease awareness efforts during the preapproval phase
- Develop relationships with clinical and non-clinical experts to understand unmet needs and patient journeys
- Lead onboarding for launching an allogeneic cell therapy
- Navigate complex account environments and collaborate with medical, value and access, and cell therapy operations teams
- Use customer insights and analytical data to develop and execute strategic account plans
- Train treatment center staff on processes and optimize operational workflows
- Conduct disease-state education, site-of-care onboarding, market mapping, and research
- Engage medical experts in cell therapy, bone marrow transplantation, lymphoma, and solid organ transplantation
- Educate physicians about disease severity, unmet medical need, standard of care, and patient journeys
- Create and maintain detailed site account plans and execute territory business plans with account-specific KPIs
- Map institutional processes, patient flows, and referral networks
- Partner with service line directors, administrators, coordinators, pharmacy committees, transplant administrators, and medical societies
- Collaborate with marketing on US promotional materials for launch
- Support professional meetings, exhibits, scientific-session reporting, and meetings with medical experts
- Lead collaboration with internal field-facing, market access, medical affairs, and cell therapy technical operations teams
- Post-approval, competitively promote Tab-cel Ebvallo using disease-landscape, product, and clinical expertise
- Share account and HCP insights, business trends, competitive shifts, and therapeutic-landscape changes
- Drive appropriate product utilization and educate stakeholders on Tab-cel efficacy and safety
- Create urgency to treat appropriate patients using approved promotional materials
- Operate in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and US state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 10 years of experience within the biopharma industry
- Deep expertise in cell or gene therapy service lines
- Demonstrated experience in a collaborative and complex matrix environment
- Ability to understand and convey complex treatment modalities
- Demonstrated high scientific aptitude
- Sales experience in ultra rare disease, ideally CGT
- Ability to appropriately access and handle business information in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Pierre Fabre policies
- Passion for making a difference in patients’ lives
- Launch experience in a high-acuity therapeutic area such as ultra rare disease
- Existing relationships in cell therapy, bone marrow transplantation, and solid organ transplantation service lines
- Experience managing large geographies
- Experience in rare oncology and/or transplant settings
- Successful account management in large academic institutions
- Regular daily and overnight travel within the assigned business territory, up to 70%
