Job Description
Cellular therapy account director launching Pierre Fabre’s rare-disease oncology treatment across the Southeast. Building treatment-center relationships and driving Tab-cel access, adoption, and patient support.
Responsibilities:
- Lead disease awareness efforts during the preapproval phase
- Develop relationships with clinical and non-clinical experts to understand unmet need and patient journeys
- Lead onboarding for launching an allogeneic cell therapy
- Navigate complex account environments and collaborate with medical, value and access, and cell therapy operations functions
- Design and execute strategic account plans using customer insights and analytical data
- Train treatment center staff on processes to remove barriers and optimize workflows
- Conduct disease-state education, site-of-care onboarding, market mapping, and research
- Engage medical experts in cell therapy, bone marrow transplantation, lymphoma, and solid organ transplantation
- Understand cell therapy and transplant center processes and potential onboarding requirements
- Educate physicians on disease severity, unmet medical need, standard of care, and patient journeys
- Create and maintain detailed site account plans
- Coordinate with Pierre Fabre functions to support efficient customer experience and expedited access to Tab-cel Ebvallo
- Map institutional operations, patient flow, and referral networks
- Execute territory business plans with account-specific KPIs and tactics
- Partner with service line directors, administrators, coordinators, pharmacy committees, transplant administrators, and medical societies
- Collaborate with marketing on US promotional materials
- Own relationships with key commercial stakeholders within target institutions
- Support professional meetings, including exhibit staffing, scientific session reporting, and expert meetings
- Drive collaboration with field-facing teams, market access, medical affairs, and cell therapy technical operations
- Promote Tab-cel Ebvallo after approval through disease landscape, product, and clinical expertise
- Share account and HCP insights, business trends, competitive shifts, and therapeutic landscape changes
- Drive appropriate product utilization and educate stakeholders on efficacy and safety
- Create urgency to treat appropriate patients using approved promotional materials
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 10 years of experience within the biopharma industry
- Deep expertise in cell or gene therapy service lines
- Demonstrated experience in participating in a collaborative and complex matrix environment
- Ability to understand and convey complex treatment modalities
- Demonstrated high scientific aptitude
- Sales experience in ultra rare disease, ideally CGT
- Ability to appropriately access and handle business information in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and/or Pierre Fabre policies
- Passion for making a difference in patients’ lives
- Launch experience in a high acuity therapeutic area such as ultra rare disease preferred
- Existing relationships in cell therapy, bone marrow transplantation, and solid organ transplantation service lines preferred
- Experience managing large geographies preferred
- Experience in rare oncology and/or transplant setting preferred
- Demonstrated record of successful account management in large academic institution preferred
- Regular daily and overnight travel within the assigned business territory, up to 70%
